6 Mile Cellars is closing.
The opportunity to build something in Lake Erie wine country while living in Pittsburgh has meant a lot to us. At the same time, the distance has a way of sharpening your thinking of where you are most needed.

What started as a hobby between friends turned into something far more meaningful than we ever expected. Over 14 years, we’ve had the privilege of creating award winning wines, building relationships with incredible farmers and industry giants, and sharing countless memorable moments with all of you. We’re incredibly proud of what we built together.

We have made the tough decision to close 6 Mile Cellars winery effective immediately. With growing family commitments and the difficulty of running a business from a distance, we’ve chosen to concentrate on our cider program at Snappy's Taphouse in Pittsburgh.

We are deeply grateful to our team, our partners, and especially to our customers—who supported us every step of the way. You made 6 Mile Cellars what it was.

We’ll be planning a final celebration weekend to raise a glass together and say thank you properly. More details to come soon.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for being part of this journey.
